Fried salted, dried cod

Ingredients:

½ kg salted, dried cod

1 egg

1 cup flour

Olive oil for frying

Preparation:

Place the cod in a good amount of water to remove the salt and leave overnight. Next day, wash it well, prepare it and cut into portions. Beat together the flour, salt, beaten egg and a little water to make a batter, dip the cod pieces in it and then fry them in very hot olive oil. This dish goes very well with skordalia.
