Fried snails

Ingredients:

1 kilo large snails

2 cups olive oil for frying

Salt

Vinegar

Preparation:

Prepare the snails as mentioned above. Leach them out thoroughly under tap water and then put them in a frying pan with their shells facing upwards. Fry over high heat while stirring occasionally. Just before they are done add salt and vinegar and serve.
