Almiros gorge
The gorge Almyros is located in Linoperamata, close to Heraklion, between Keri and Kastrokefala. Important attractions are the ruins of 'Three Churches', a Catholic monastery, dating from the 14th century. The gorge is very beautiful, with characteristic Cretan flora, and is very easy to walk in.
